HOCKOMOCK DAVENPORT REPEAT!

Congratulations to the Oliver Ames Men's Varsity Soccer Team, for repeating as Champions of the Davenport Division of the Hockomock League.

The team is seeded sixth in the Division 1 South Sectional Tournament. The Tigers won their FIrst Round game against Franklin at home at Muscato Stadium on Sunday 4 November 2012 at 6:00 p.m., in a thrilling penalty-kick shootout. One David MacKinnon save and five successful kicks by OA from Christopher Goncalves, Evan Coose, Jack DeDonato, Adam Borbeley and David Stapleton finally clinched the victory. More photos.

OA won their Quarterfinal game 2-1 against Walpole [another story], setting up a Semifinal match against Weymouth Friday 9 November at 7:30 p.m. at Weymount High School.

OA fell 3-2 in overtime to Weymouth in the Semifinals, ending an impressive and very successful season for the Tigers; see photos. Congratulations to all the players and coaches!
